FC 27 Season 2 is expected to be one of the busiest and most rewarding stretches of the Ultimate Team calendar, running from October 22 to December 3, 2026. According to early leaks, the season will deliver four major promos: Ultimate Scream, UEFA RTTK, Hall of FUT Unleashed, and Black Friday Thunderstruck. Each event is expected to introduce unique player cards, special attribute boosts, dynamic upgrades, and collection rewards that could reshape squad building for weeks.

For players who want to hit the ground running, preparation is everything. Whether you're hunting for EA FC 27 Accounts to start with a stronger club or browsing the market for coins, platforms like z2u.com offer a convenient way to stock up before the biggest player releases arrive.

FC 27 Season 2 Promo Schedule at a Glance

These dates and features are predictions rather than confirmed announcements. Players should watch for official updates before making major decisions about their Ultimate Team budgets.

1. Ultimate Scream: Halloween-Themed Special Cards

Ultimate Scream is one of the most recognizable Halloween-themed events in the FIFA series. After returning in FC 26, the promo is expected to feature again in FC 27, potentially launching on October 23, just one day after Season 2 begins.

Previous editions experimented with temporary attribute boosts, special upgrade conditions, and unusual player statistics. FC 26 introduced a distinctive system featuring permanent Role+ and Role++ upgrades during two full-moon events, alongside a temporary boost that raised one random attribute to 99 for seven days.

FC 27 could retain similar mechanics, although the upgrade values, activation dates, and eligibility rules may change. The expected player pool could include current stars, Heroes, and players whose weaknesses become less significant after receiving special boosts. Team 1 and Team 2 releases may also be accompanied by Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), Objectives, and Evolutions.

For squad building, the most valuable cards may not necessarily have the highest overall ratings. Players with useful Role++ upgrades, versatile positions, or temporary improvements to pace, shooting, and defending could offer greater practical value. Those who want to strengthen their squads quickly can also browse EA FC 27 Accounts on z2u.com to build around these new cards from day one.

2. UEFA RTTK: Dynamic Upgrades Based on European Football

UEFA Road to the Knockouts is expected to arrive on November 6. First introduced in FIFA 22, RTTK has become a familiar promo centered on special cards connected to European club competitions.

Its main attraction is the possibility of dynamic upgrades based on real-world results. Depending on the official requirements, qualifying conditions may include club victories, progression to knockout rounds, or other tournament achievements.

If FC 27 continues this approach, players should evaluate RTTK cards by considering three factors:

• Initial attributes: Determine whether a card is already competitive before upgrades.

• Club performance: Assess the team's form and prospects in European competitions.

• Upgrade requirements: Check the specific conditions and remaining fixtures.

RTTK cards can offer attractive investment opportunities, but their future value depends partly on unpredictable match results. Rather than purchasing every popular card, players should compare potential upgrades with current market prices and their own squad requirements.

3. Hall of FUT Unleashed: Expanding the New Card Collection

Hall of FUT Unleashed is a new promo concept for FC 27, making its potential mechanics particularly interesting. Hall of FUT's basic cards are obtained through the FUT Gallery token store, while special editions are expected to appear in different campaigns throughout the year.

Unleashed could expand this collection by introducing enhanced versions of existing players or adding new cards with improved attributes. Either approach would give players more options for collecting cards and building specialized squads.

The FUT Gallery system revolves around completing collections, improving ratings, and earning Gallery Tokens. Consequently, one important question is whether Unleashed will introduce new collection objectives, additional token rewards, or changes to the availability of basic Hall of FUT cards.

The promo's success may depend on how well its rewards complement existing Gallery progression. Players should monitor token requirements and reward availability before spending resources on individual collection targets.

4. Black Friday Thunderstruck: Dynamic Upgrades and Special Packs

Black Friday Thunderstruck is expected to launch on November 27, during the Black Friday shopping period. Previous editions have combined special player cards with dynamic upgrade systems linked to real-world league performances.

In FC 25, upgrades included improvements to overall ratings, PlayStyles, and Player Roles based on club results and goals. FC 26 continued the concept with conditions involving wins, draws, and goals.

FC 27 may follow a similar model, although the exact requirements remain unknown. Popular attackers, versatile midfielders, strong defenders, and Icons could become key targets if their cards offer meaningful upgrade potential.

Black Friday may also bring concentrated releases of special cards and packs, increasing market activity. However, a major promo does not guarantee that every player card will become cheaper. Prices will depend on supply, demand, pack availability, and the popularity of individual players.
