Where to Block Players in Monopoly Go at U4GM

If you've had enough of a friend in Monopoly GO causing trouble, it helps to know the game gives you a clean way to sort it out. A lot of players first notice this when someone keeps hitting their landmarks or shows up too often in the social side of the app. Once you know where to look, the whole thing is pretty straightforward, and it can save you a lot of hassle during events like the Monopoly Go Partners Event.

Find the Right Menu

Start on the main board, then head to the Friends area in the lower-right corner. From there, open the Leaderboard tab. That is where your linked friends are shown, along with their current standing. If you are trying to deal with one specific person, this is the spot that matters most. You will not get far by tapping random names elsewhere, so it is worth staying in this section and taking your time.

What You Can and Cannot Block

Here is the part that trips people up: blocking only works for people already on your friends list. If someone is not connected to you as a friend, the game does not give you the same option. That means a player who attacks you once in a while, but never got added as a friend, cannot be removed in the same way. It sounds a bit limiting, but that is how the system works right now.

Action Where to do it Result
Open Friends Main board Brings up social options
Select Leaderboard Friends menu Shows your current friends
Tap a friend's name Leaderboard Opens player settings
Choose block Player menu Removes that person from your view

Use the Block Option

Once you spot the friend you want to remove, tap their name. A small menu should pop up with a few settings for that player. Pick the block option there, then confirm it if the game asks you to. After that, they should be gone from your active experience. You will not keep seeing them in your friend list, and they should no longer be able to bother your board in the same way.

Keep Your Game Cleaner

If you prefer a calmer feed and fewer unwanted run-ins, this is one of those small settings that makes a real difference. A few taps and you can clear out the people you do not want around, while still keeping the rest of your game intact. For players who like to stay focused on rewards, rolls, and collecting Monopoly Go Stickers, that kind of control can make the whole app feel a lot easier to live with.
